GemOro's new generation of Eye Loupes features a high quality 10X, distortion free, bonded three piece lens made from optical glass, plus a built-in LED light source. The outer case is chrome plated, the inner case is matte black to insure color correctness. The LED light is powered by three powerful BA389 batteries. (included). In addition to the plastic carrying case, this item includes a small screwdriver for battery replacement.

Good Price

I have used these loupes for a few years and find them useful for inspecting small mineral specimens. I usually have several scattered throuhout he house and packed for trips. Need to replace the batteries every so often and the only issue I have had is that the screwdriver supplied with the loupe is diificult to use on the small screws. Better to use a small precision screwdriver so as not to damage the screw head.
